The DCAE Halloween Mini-comics are here!

If you registered to hand out these comics to your trick-or-treaters, you can pick them up at the UNT CoLab at 207 N Elm St. They will be available to you any day during their regular business hours (see below) from noon today until 6 PM next Wednesday, October 28th. There are a few unclaimed bundles so if you didn’t claim any comics during the resignation period, you may still be able to go and grab a bundle or two, but don’t wait too long, supplies are limited!

SAM LOTFI

SAM LOTFI is a comic book creator and illustrator best known for his books INNARDS (Ignition Press), MOSELY (Boom! Studios), ALFRED: PAIN in the BUTLER (DC Comics), LAST STOP on the RED LINE (Dark Horse Comics) and TMNT Covers (IDW) as well as other works for DC, IDW, Titan Comics, Dynamite, 1First Comics and Antarctic Press. Sam was the character designer and storyboard artist for the multiple award winning animated short film RED TAPE, the film won Best Animated Short at the Burbank International Film Festival and WorldFest Houston among others.

Hector Cantu

Hector Cantú is co-creator of the nationally syndicated Baldo newspaper comic strip, which appears in more than 300 newspapers nationwide, including The Washington Post, The New York Daily News, The Houston Chronicle, The Denver Post, and The Los Angeles Daily News. He is co-author of “The Lower You Ride, the Cooler You Are: A Baldo Collection” and “Night of the Bilingual Telemarketers: A Baldo Collection.”

Sarah Mensinga

Originally from Canada, Sarah now lives in Texas. She has worked in the animation industry but has become a prolific writer/illustrator with works that include Kindred Dragons - Book 1, Shimmerdark, The Box, Currently, The Forever Box - Flight 4, The Changeling - Flight 5, Above, Parable, Fish - Fablewood, and The Wellington Division.
